• We practice learning through a balance of free play and educational-directed activities.
• Our staff will nurture children in their physical, emotional, spiritual, and cognitive growth with a variance of learning opportunities each day.
• The educational program will only be followed during the 4 school terms.
• The children will receive progress reports twice a year. The purpose of the progress report is to keep you up to date with your child’s ability to reach his/her development milestones. Informal assessments will take place on a continuous basis through observing each child individually.
• In-house routine activities as well as outside free play are seen as integral parts of the educational process.
• Education will be given in English, depending on the child’s home language.
• Children will also be allowed to play and discover new things for themselves. Although everything we “teach” will be done in a “playful” and informal manner, all of the activities presented between 8:00 and 12:00 will have educational value and will be done with a specific outcome in mind.
